Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Configures and manages security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint protection, and data loss prevention (DLP) solutions.
  • Understands IAM concepts, such as access control, authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management. Familiarity with tools like Active Directory, LDAP, or IAM platforms.
  • Knows security principles and best practices, particularly in IAM and access control.
  • Supports the provisioning, de-provisioning, and lifecycle management of user accounts, ensuring that employees have the appropriate access levels based on their roles.
  • Assists with role-based access controls (RBAC) and ensures compliance with the least-privilege principle.
  • Helps implement and maintain authentication and authorization solutions (such as Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), etc.).
  • Monitors and supports identity governance processes to ensure secure and compliant access control.
  • Assists in managing and maintaining IAM tools, such as SailPoint and CyberArk.
  • Supports the IAM team in upgrading, patching, and troubleshooting IAM systems as necessary.
  • Ensures adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards for identity and access management.
  • Supports audits and compliance reporting by providing relevant IAM data.
  • Responds to end-user queries related to IAM issues, such as access problems or login difficulties.
  • Collaborates with other IT and security teams to resolve IAM-related incidents.
  • Assists in creating and maintaining documentation for IAM procedures, policies, and standards.
  • Provides regular reports on IAM metrics, such as access requests, authentication attempts, and compliance levels.
  • Communicates technical information to non-technical users and collaborates with different teams successfully.
  • Troubleshoots user access issues and handles IAM-related incidents.
Academic Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Years of Experience:
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience.
Professional Certificates:
  • Professional certification such as CompTIA Security+ or introductory IAM certifications.
Skills:
  • Intermediate proficiency in determining the security control requirements of information systems and networks.
  • Intermediate proficiency in designing the integration of technology processes and solutions, including legacy systems and modern programming languages.
  • Intermediate proficiency in applying cybersecurity and privacy principles to organizational requirements.
  • Intermediate proficiency in determining the normal operational state for security systems and how that state is affected by change.
  • Intermediate proficiency in designing the integration of hardware and software solutions.
  • Intermediate proficiency in applying and incorporating information technologies into proposed solutions.
  • Intermediate implementation experience of security solutions in different domains.
  • Intermediate proficiency in designing workshops and delivering consultancy services to customers.
  • Intermediate understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security.
  • Intermediate proficiency in the security technology domain with demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas - AAA, Firewall, IPS/IDS, Access Control, Encryption, VPN, Web security, Mail security, IAM, EDR, DLP, WAF, SIEM, PAM, IAM, SOAR.
  • Intermediate proficiency in troubleshooting and implementing security solutions across Enterprise and Service provider environments.
  • Intermediate proficiency in troubleshooting skills to resolve complex network and/or application or system integration issues.
