Alkaffary Group is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Controller Accountant to join our finance and inventory management team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all inventory-related financial transactions, ensuring accurate accounting records, and conducting regular inventory reconciliations. Your expertise will help us maintain precise inventory valuation and reporting, critical for informed decision-making and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, a deep understanding of inventory management principles, and proven analytical skills. Maintain accurate inventory accounting records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Perform regular inventory reconciliations and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and accounting records
Prepare detailed inventory reports for financial analysis and management review
Assist in the monthly close process by providing inventory-related information and analytics
Collaborate with the inventory control team to ensure accurate costing and valuation of inventory
Review transactions related to inventory purchases, sales, and adjustments
Contribute to the development and implementation of internal controls related to inventory management

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting, preferably with a focus on inventory management
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and inventory valuation methods
Proficiency in accounting software and inventory management systems
Excellent analytical and detail-oriented skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
