Job description
An exciting Data Engineering Lead role has opened up with a leading MNC in their regional Digital Transformation team. The role will play an integral part in leading Data Migration & Transformation for the group's IT operations from ERP to Data Architectures. There will be ample opportunities and exposure to Data related projects in an evolving ecosystem. This role will be ideal for candidates looking to further their career in Data Engineering/ Architecture. Job Duties:
- Develop data migration & architectural solutions under existing framework & systems
- Manage projects and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery & deployment of solutions
- Review and enforce data integrity measures and ensure processes are compliant to existing standards
- Contribute to enterprise-wide ERP implementation & transformation projects
- Ensure effective synergy between internal project teams & existing vendors
- Provide pn-going review and recommendations for new technologies integration
The Candidate:
- Degree holder in a relevant discipline (Computer Science, MIS, Data etc.)
- At least 8 years of experience in a Data Engineering/ Data Project Management with a sizeable organisation.
- Hands on experience in Data tools & ETL process
- Project expereince in driving enterprise-wide data migration projects
- Prior experience in ERP migration & transformation
- Working knowledge with a leading ERP system (Oracle, SAP)
- Relevant certifications in PMP, Agile, Scrum, Power BI would be beneficial
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English, with fluency in Mandarin/ Cantonese as a plus
