This individual will be a dedicated QA to one team, responsible for ensuring high-quality software is delivered to our customers. Job Description Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Test planning and design of test scenarios
- Test case preparation and maintenance
- Test case reviews
- Test case execution
- Logging and tracking of defects through to completion
- Test reporting throughout test environments
- Testing for production support
- Provide regular feedback to team members, developers, and stakeholders
- Attend daily stand-ups and provide testing progress
- Ability to work some evenings for live deployments (2 - 3 nights per month)
- Relevant IT Tertiary Qualification
- 5+ years’ experience in a testing or similar role
- Previous experience working within a FinTech/Retail, Payments or Banking environment is preferred
- API testing experience (must have)
- Experience using API testing tools like POSTMAN, JMETER, RAPID API, SoapUI, REST-assured, Catalon Studio, Apigee (must have)
- Experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins
- Experience using Linux
- Automation testing experience
- Have experience of working with enterprise scale application stacks
- Have had exposure to the full software development lifecycle
- Proficiency in database queries
- Familiarity with programming script languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)
- Excellent analytical skills
