- Develops and expands new potential products and fulfill customers’ needs.
- Oversee implementation of procurement strategies of oils purchases in accordance to market assessment and company policies.
- Monitor daily selling price range and margins derived thereof including to provide advices on sales decision whenever there is request from local traders.
- Monitors short-term trading strategies and books for a specific commodity/ market/ customer based on speculative & hedged positions.
- Monitors risk positions by researching supply and demand, forecasts market movements and translates findings into tradable input.
- Maintains client relationship at all times in terms of trade communication.
- Reconciles routine/ repetitive P&L estimates and reports.
- Coordinates with production and logistics to ensure smooth operation.
- Any other duties or tasks as assigned by superior or Management from time to time.
- Degree or Diploma in Business Management/ Commerce/ Economics or equivalent academic qualifications.
- At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience or from similar businesses. Candidates with exposure in palm oil business and working knowledge in trading and commodities will be added advantage.
- Working knowledge in software applications relating to commodities trading platform will be added advantage.
- Good command of verbal and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia, proficiency in other languages will be added advantage.
- Willing to travel and work under pressure with fast-paced environment.
