Senior D365 F&O Functional Consultant - Production

Job Description: D365 Functional Consultant F&O Production (Senior) Experience: 6-7 Years Location: Hyderabad Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional Consultant - F&O (Finance and Operations) with expertise in Production to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in implementing and optimizing Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) solutions for manufacturing and production processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze business requirements, and provide tailored solutions to improve production efficiency, streamline operations, and meet business objectives. Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Analysis:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for production and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct workshops with stakeholders to identify gaps and recommend solutions.

1. Solution Design and Implementation:

• Design and configure D365 F&O modules related to production, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.
• Define production order flows, Bill of Materials (BOM), and route management.
• Implement and optimize master planning, scheduling, and shop floor controls.

1. Process Optimization:

• Provide best practices for production planning, capacity planning, and inventory control.
• Identify and resolve inefficiencies in the current production workflows.

1. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with technical teams to develop customizations, integrations, and data migrations.
• Act as a liaison between business users and the technical team to ensure smooth implementation.
• Facilitate user training sessions and provide ongoing support post-implementation.

1. Testing and Documentation:

• Develop and execute test cases for system validation and UAT.
• Create comprehensive documentation, including user guides, process flows, and configuration records.

1. Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other functional consultants to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.

1. Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

1. Experience:

• 6-7 years of experience as a Functional Consultant with a strong focus on D365 F&O Production and Manufacturing modules.
• Proven track record of at least 2-3 full-cycle D365 F&O implementations.

1. Technical Proficiency:

• In-depth knowledge of D365 F&O Production, Manufacturing, Inventory, and Supply Chain modules.
• Understanding of production order management, master planning, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and shop floor operations.
• Familiarity with Power BI and other Microsoft tools for reporting and analytics.

1. Certifications (Preferred):
