Food Service Director

Job Description We are seeking an Executive Chef to join our team at Albany Creek Retirement Village. Key Responsibilities Lead the kitchen and restaurant team to provide exceptional dining experiences for residents Develop and implement menus, catering options, and ideas for functions that meet resident needs and preferences Maintain high standards of food safety and quality, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures Manage stock levels, ordering, rotation, and amendments to ensure efficient inventory control Coordinate staff rostering, development, and hiring to ensure excellent customer service Requirements Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a casual dining kitchen setting (e.g., retirement villages, cafes, a la carte settings, RSLs or pubs) Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (required) Qualified Food Safety Supervisor (desirable) Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and guide team members Current Police Check clearance and minimum two COVID-19 vaccinations (required) About Us Aveo is a market-leading provider of retirement living solutions, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services to seniors.
