Job Title : Senior IT Account Manager Location : Bangalore Job Type : Full-Time Experience Level : 9+ years About the Role : We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 9+ years of proven experience managing IT client accounts, understanding customer needs, and driving successful IT solutions. The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for developing strong relationships with key clients, overseeing project delivery, and ensuring overall client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities :

  • Client Relationship Management : Build and nurture long-term relationships with key IT clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met with appropriate solutions.
  • Project Oversight : Oversee the end-to-end delivery of IT projects and services, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Account Growth : Drive account growth through upselling and cross-selling additional IT services and solutions that align with client goals.
  • Consultative Approach : Provide consultative guidance to clients, advising on IT strategy, solutions, and best practices.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration : Work closely with internal technical teams, project managers, and service delivery teams to ensure smooth execution and alignment of client expectations.
  • Client Satisfaction & Retention : Continuously monitor client satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to ensure client retention.
  • Contract Negotiation & Renewal : Lead contract discussions, renewals, and negotiations with clients to ensure profitable agreements and ongoing business partnerships.
  • Reporting & Analysis : Regularly report on account performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization, improvements, and new opportunities.
  • Risk Management : Identify potential risks and issues related to account management and take proactive steps to mitigate them.
Qualifications :
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in IT account management or client management, specifically in the IT services or solutions industry.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, software development, cloud solutions, and IT infrastructure.
  • Proven experience managing large and complex client accounts, with a strong track record of account growth and client retention.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both clients and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL, Agile, and Scrum is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications :
  • Experience with enterprise-level IT solutions and service delivery.
  • Advanced knowledge of CRM software, account management tools, and project management software.
  • Familiarity with contract law and negotiation tactics in the IT space.
  • PMP, ITIL, or similar certifications are a plus.
