Duties and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate a patient’s condition and needs.
- Develop a treatment plan for patients, laying out the types of activities.
- Develop long or short-term treatment plans, including diet and exercise.
- Help patients operate basic movements that will aid them in their everyday living.
- Demonstrate exercises to relieve pain and increase mobility.
- Evaluate a patient’s home or workplace and identify potential improvements based on the patient’s health needs.
- Record progress and make further recommendations.
- Alter treatment programs, if necessary.
- Prepare materials and assemble equipment for use during treatment.
- Teach patients how to compensate for lost motor skills.
- Assist patients in their activities of daily living.
- Demonstrate therapy techniques.
- Maintain appropriate documentation on all related services and procedures.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of comprehensive patients’ records in accordance with record-keeping standards to support team members.
- Submit patient documentation on time.
- Perform other relevant duties as required.
- Attend training on KPI for improvement and quality.
