Responsibilities:

Responsible for all suppliers/sub-contractors negotiations which involve understanding and knowledge of competitive pricing for packages related to commercial/residential villa projects (mainly swimming pool, water feature, Hardscape, Softscape, Irrigation system construction good quality materials).
Within this role, the procurement is responsible for strategic and operational activities to support various site projects and all materials/supplies purchases (concrete/trees/plants/etc).
Ensuring awareness and company compliance to all local construction guidelines.
Maintain all supplier details information updates on company server systems.
Maintain and implement materials purchases as per budget for each project approved BOQ before preparing LPO's.
Meet clients, subcontractors, and suppliers on-site as necessary.
Ensure accurate computations/takeoffs to ensure material purchases are within budgets.
Resourceful in research of new materials for cost savings.
Develop and implement new purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification.
Establish new relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure adequate resources for all projects and to continually improve negotiation pricing and quality of work.
Participate in pre-tender meetings, site visits, and prepare site visit reports to analyze the project scope of work.
Analyze supplier technical offers, in view of project specifications and standards for accurate purchases of materials.
Prepare comparative statements to analyze quotations and select the most appropriate vendors and subcontractors.
Prepare vendors cost comparative study report to facilitate financial selection of vendors/subcontractors & price.
Assist management in preparing estimation in pre & post tender of commercial/residential pool & landscape negotiations with clients and vendors to reach competitive pricing.
Coordinate with Estimation, Project Engineer, Project Manager, Accounts, and the entire team consistently.
Ensure timely preparation of all LPO's as per Site supervisor materials request, with complete attachments (approved quotation, material request form, supplier bank details).
Gather copies of suppliers VAT TRN, Trade license copy, Tax Invoices, and bank details before payment.
Negotiate payment terms with suppliers and secure favorable long-term payment terms.
Professionally deal with all suppliers and team members at all times.
Coordinate with Project Manager, Finance, and GM for the approval of LPO's.
Assigned to project site work from time to time.

Requirements:

3 to 4 years of solid experience in Pool & Landscape construction – Procurement/Purchasing only in Dubai, UAE.
Civil Engineer Graduate.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
Outstanding leadership, management, and communication skills both written & verbal.
Strong organizational skills with time management; capable of planning and executing work for each site project requisition of materials.
Exceptional professionalism and work ethics at all times (note: rude behavior is not acceptable).
Valid UAE Driver's License.
Multi-tasking and hardworking.
Valid SOE membership.
Approved DM certificates - is an advantage.
