Join employee-owned CH2M HILL and discover why our diverse team has been consistently ranked as one of the leading employers and repeatedly recognized as a best place to work in the U.S.About the BusinessDescription and Desired QualificationsCH2M HILL Design Manager/Project Engineer (Industrial Water) - Abu Dhabi, UAEOur Industrial Water/Wastewater Design Manager/Project Engineers:Deliver design and EPC projects involving industrial water/wastewater for the power, chemical, petrochemical, mining, and oil & gas industries while managing multi-discipline teams to bring innovative solutions to industrial water/wastewater challenges. Ensure the best technical and business solutions for our client and integration of industrial subject matter and service expertise.Assemble and lead the project teamAllocate resources where appropriate to achieve the safety, time, cost, scope and quality objectives of the projectManage and drive multi-discipline project delivery; ensure compliance with overall project objectives, not just engineeringServe as primary interface between our project team and project manager, conveying technical, schedule, and project performance information in a timely and professional manner.Develop and manage man-hour estimates and project schedules to complete work. Plan and coordinate work sequence with disciplines for productive and Job Requirements/Qualifications/Experience:Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental or Civil Engineering or closely related science discipline- 10 Ã¢â‚¬" 15 years competency in working with industrial clients in engineering or project engineer roles on industrial water / wastewater chemistry and treatment projects- 10 Ã¢â‚¬" 15 yearsÃ¢â‚¬ experience working with and understanding the delivery process of all disciplines in the sequence and development of project deliverables- 10 Ã¢â‚¬" 15 yearsÃ¢â‚¬ experience in written and verbal communication of project plans and presentations- 5 Ã¢â‚¬" 10 years discipline lead experience with design projects and related project delivery tools and metrics and leading project teams in successful project delivery- Adept at interpersonal relationship building and conflict resolution- Must be willing to travel to meet project needsPreferred QualificationsIn addition to the basic qualifications we also desire the following:- Master's degree in Chemical, Environmental or Civil Engineering or closely related science discipline-15 Ã¢â‚¬" 20 yearsÃ¢â‚¬ experience with water or wastewater treatment for power, chemical, petrochemical, mining or oil and gas industries- Strong working relationships with industrial clients- Experience in execution of conceptual through detailed design and construction support for industrial projects (EPC project experience a plus)- Ability to accurately evaluate levels of completeness of various discipline deliverables and whether or not they are meeting scope of work requirements- Professional Registration or ability to obtain in 12 months preferred- Field and Construction Experience- Certified PMP- Middle East experience- Arabic speaker About The Company As a global leader in consulting, design, design-build, operations, and program management, CH2M HILL has the human and technical resources, the international footprint, and the depth of know-how and experience to help clients achieve success in any corner of the world.At CH2M HILL, we always strive to perform above your expectations and our industry's standards.
