This role drives the design and execution of the company's ethics and compliance engagement strategy, delivering impactful communication, training, and awareness programs that resonate with employees at all levels. By embedding ethics and compliance principles into VEON's organizational culture, this role ensures that compliance is not only understood but embraced throughout the business. Acting as a cultural ambassador, the Head of Ethics & Compliance Culture and Engagement works closely with business units and senior leadership to integrate compliance values into the corporate identity and support VEON's long-term commitment to ethical business practices.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy-Driven Culture Building: Develop and lead a comprehensive ethics and compliance engagement strategy that aligns with the vision set by the Board for VEON and implemented by the function. Work hand in hand with the Global Head of Ethics and Compliance to ensure this strategy fosters a strong, organization-wide culture of ethical conduct and compliance with internal and external standards.Communication and Awareness Initiatives: Propose and implement global communication campaigns that promote compliance awareness and understanding with each OpCo and utilizing one global message. Use various channels, such as newsletters, town halls, webinars, and digital media, to deliver clear, impactful messages on compliance expectations and ethical values made fit for purpose for every Opco.Training Development and Delivery: General oversight on the creation and deployment of compliance training programs that address regulatory requirements, company policies, and ethical decision-making skills at an Opco level. Ensure that training materials are engaging, relevant, and tailored to address the unique needs of different functions and regions.Collaboration with OpCo's/Business Units: Serve as a key liaison between the Ethics & Compliance function and business units, ensuring that compliance initiatives are effectively integrated into everyday operations and adapted to the specific challenges of each department.Metrics and Impact Assessment: Implement mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of training, communication, and awareness programs, using surveys, feedback, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Report findings to the Global Head, highlighting successes and recommending strategic adjustments where needed.Risk and Issue Identification: Engage with employees across the organization to identify potential compliance risks, cultural issues, or gaps in awareness. Use these insights to proactively address areas of concern and refine the compliance culture strategy.Support for Ethics Reporting Channels: Collaborate with relevant teams to promote and maintain ethical reporting channels, ensuring that employees feel confident and safe reporting concerns or potential compliance issues.Supporting the Global Head's Strategy: The Head of Ethics & Compliance Culture and Engagement is crucial in translating the strategic vision of VEON regarding business ethics into practical, high-impact initiatives that reach every level of the organization. This role supports the Global Head by embedding compliance as a core component of VEON's culture, ensuring that employees not only understand their ethical obligations but feel motivated to act in accordance with them. By driving engagement, awareness, and alignment across the organization, this position builds a sustainable compliance culture that reduces risk and supports the Global Head's long-term goals of fostering an ethical, integrity-focused environment. Through continuous measurement, feedback, and refinement, the Head of Ethics & Compliance Culture and Engagement enables the Global Head to make informed, data-backed decisions to enhance the E&C function's effectiveness and cultural reach.Critical Skills & ExperienceExperience Required:Minimum 8-10 years of experience in compliance training, communications, organizational culture, or a related field.Proven experience in designing and implementing engagement and awareness strategies within a large, complex, or global organization.Strong background in developing and measuring the impact of culture-building programs.Skills and Qualifications:Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and cultural engagement skills.Ability to develop compelling and relevant training materials, awareness campaigns, and communication initiatives.Proficiency in using data and metrics to assess program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work across functions and regions to achieve organizational alignment.More about us:For the latest updates follow us on LinkedIn--> http://bit.ly/3YyrWzFDo you want to be part of a team that serves over 160 million customers across 6 dynamic markets?
