We are currently looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Dubai office with the following requirements.A good academic background with Bachelor's Degree/Master's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.Minimum 12-15 years of experience in the structural design working with engineering consultant's firm.DM unlimited license preferred.Lead the design and analysis of complex structural systems for a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial structures.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.Experience in the structural analysis and design of building structures from concept through to detail design.Excellent user of Structural Analysis and Design software including ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, Revit & AutoCAD.Familiar with local and international codes of practice for structural design.Manage and collaborate closely with Architects, other disciplines, and sub consultants to efficiently complete projects and meet expected budgets and timelines.Review and guide the design calculations and technical documentation produced by Junior Engineers.Work closely with Revit/CAD team to review the drawings on a timely basis.Collaborate with other members of the team to deliver innovative and sustainable best value solutions that meet the Client's requirements whilst maintaining excellent relationships with Clients and co-workers.Familiar with Statutory Authority regulations and able to discuss the structural design and obtain the Local Authorities and Municipality Approvals.Develop design brief and design reports based on project requirements.Collaborate with head of department to prioritize projects, workloads, and needs.Capable of providing solutions to site queries within the stipulated time frame.Capable of reviewing site submittals and drawings to ensure compliance with specifications.Ability to work in an organized and structured fashion, and within time constraints.Expected to take ownership of issues and follow them through to completion.Maintain a positive working relationship with team members and other disciplines.Good command of written and verbal communication skills in English.
