Responsible for water/wastewater process design, working out solutions that well meet with the client's requirements and/or distinguish from the competitors. Technical- Support the Business Development (BD) department technically in understanding the client's requirement so as to pursue challenging projects with Veolia technologies and/or 'Game Changer' solutions
- Participate in the Tender Team in process design with deliverables such as mass balance, process design calculations / worksheets, PFD / PID, equipment list and other Process-related documents as required.
- Process risk analysis
- Submit and obtain process validation from Expert Business Units or BS&P, if required
- Support the Project Execution team in preparing process-related deliverables, such as PID, process control philosophy, equipment list (with process data) and others as needed contractually.
- Participate to process commissioning at site if necessary.
- Provide training (if required) to the client in the area of process design
- Liaise with BS&P and/or technical team at expert BU in acquiring the Veolia technologies/solutions development
- Continue upgrading and acquiring knowledge on the latest technology development and new / advanced technology in Process Water Treatment
Qualifications
EDUCATION- University Degree/Postgraduate Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Water Treatment Engineering and the related disciplines
- Fresh graduates accepted? Yes
- 0 – 5 years of experience in water treatment process design
- Site commissioning or plant operation experience is an advantage
- Technical
- Knowledge in water treatment process / technologies / system design (Level 4– Proficient)
- PID (Level 3 – Competent)
- Mass Balance (Level 3 – Competent)
- Jar testing
- Result oriented (Level 3 – Competent)
- Good written and oral communication skills (able to present solutions to clients)
- Team spirit (Level 4 – Proficient)
- Strategic thinking (Level 3 – Competent)
- Thoroughness (Level 3 – Competent)
