Job Description We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Purchasing officer to support our procurement department with a focus on ICT and ELV systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers for IT hardware, software, and ELV components to support our projects and operations. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sourcing strategies for IT hardware, software, and ELV components to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery
Identify new suppliers and technologies to enhance our ICT and ELV offerings
Build and maintain strong relationships with IT and ELV suppliers, negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing agreements
Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular supplier evaluations to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and department heads to forecast procurement needs for ICT and ELV systems
Create and maintain procurement plans and schedules to support project timelines and budgets
Monitor and control procurement costs for ICT and ELV systems, identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing cost-reduction initiatives
Conduct regular price benchmarking and analysis to ensure competitiveness
Maintain accurate records of IT and ELV procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier communications
Generate reports on procurement KPIs, performance metrics, and cost savings for management review

Requirements

Proven experience as a Purchasing officer or in a similar role, with at least 3 years of UAE experience in ICT and ELV procurement
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, and contract negotiation techniques in the ICT and ELV domains
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, e-procurement platforms) used in the IT and ELV industries
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions in IT and ELV procurement
Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is desirable
