Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled QA Tester with experience in testing iOS and Android applications to join our team. The ideal candidate will also have expertise in automation testing and the ability to test API test suites. This role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure the quality and functionality of our mobile applications and backend services. Key Responsibilities:
- Manual Testing:
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing for iOS and Android applications.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using industry-standard tools.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve reported issues.
- Automation Testing:
- Develop, execute, and maintain automation scripts for mobile applications.
- Contribute to the creation of robust and reusable automation frameworks.
- Ensure timely execution of automated test cases and maintain their relevance.
- API Testing:
- Design and execute API test cases for backend services.
- Utilize tools such as Postman, Swagger, or equivalent for manual API testing.
- Implement API automation scripts using Node.js and Python.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to understand requirements and deliver high-quality products.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing reports.
- Provide detailed and actionable feedback to stakeholders on testing outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in testing iOS and Android applications.
- Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Appium, Selenium, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of Node.js and Python for scripting and backend testing.
- Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with mobile development frameworks and tools like Xcode and Android Studio.
- ISTQB or equivalent certification in software testing.
