Main purpose: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently and accurately moving materials, products, and inventory using a forklift. The Forklift Operator will play a crucial role in maintaining a smooth and organized flow of operations within our facility. Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a forklift to transport materials to and from designated areas.
Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and shelves with precision.
Conduct routine inspections of the forklift to ensure it is in proper working condition.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the forklift and moving materials.
Organize and maintain the warehouse or storage area, ensuring efficient storage and accessibility of products.
Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders, locate items, and optimize warehouse space.
Keep accurate records of inventory movements, ensuring data integrity.
Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods.
Report any malfunctions or safety concerns regarding the forklift or equipment promptly.
Follow company policies and procedures regarding material handling and warehouse operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a MHE Operator (Forklift/Reach truck), preferably in the Food industry.
Proven experience as a forklift operator, with a strong understanding of forklift operations and safety.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Understanding of inventory management principles.
Knowledge of basic maintenance and troubleshooting of forklifts.
Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.
