Marketing & Events Project Manager Are you someone who is seeking an opportunity to have an insightful look into the creative industry? We are a start-up in Dubai looking for a Marketing & Events Planner/Project Manager who would love to take the lead in creating and managing project plans for various marketing and event activities. Previous project management experience, preferably with start-ups
Creative and innovative thinker
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Professional business presence and acumen
Self-starter, high level of initiative, proven proactive thinker
Commitment to customer service (internal and external)
Highly detail oriented with superb organizational skills
Strong ability to multi-task with results-oriented mindset
Calm individual who can operate under pressure, deadlines, and the demands of a busy office environment
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, Outlook
Basic knowledge in graphics arts software (Adobe, Wordpress) and HTML for website applications or willingness to learn
Experience in events management and marketing activation
Writing experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

Create and manage project plans for various marketing and event activities.
Work with team members in their respective areas to ensure all elements in the planning calendar are delivered on time.
Coordinate events, meetings and Creative Festival by identifying, assembling, and organizing requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; managing mailing lists to ensure event success.
Develop Festival Planning Calendar with weekly team meetings to ensure all goals are met in a timely manner.
Maintain email lists for internal and external communications.
Track progress of planning and follow up to ensure resolution.
Write and manage sharing of monthly project status report.
Provide support in social media monitoring process.
Assist in collating marketing materials.
Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for completion of new and different requests.
Maintain records of press coverage.
