VACANCY: ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN (Qatar) Airswift is a Global Manpower Provider specializing in the Energy, Infrastructure & IT sectors. We are working with our Oil and Gas Client based in Qatar to source for an Electrical Technician.

Qualifications

Completion of Secondary (12 years) education followed by 3 years full-time technical training.
15 years of experience in construction, commissioning, start-up, and production facilities.
Preferably with EPIC contracting companies, with a minimum of eight (8) years in Commissioning.
Experience with operation, maintenance, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and handover projects.

Accountabilities

Involved in project construction completion checks and walkthroughs, pre-commissioning, commissioning, PSSR, start-up activities, site acceptance tests, and performance tests as directed by the Lead/Senior Commissioning Engineer and advice from the respective discipline Engineer to achieve project scope and Operations Readiness objectives.
Monitor project scope normal operations until one month after successful performance tests as directed by the Lead/Senior Commissioning Engineer and advice from the respective discipline Engineer to achieve project scope and Operations Readiness objectives.
Support the Lead/Senior Commissioning Engineer in completing Operations Readiness Deliverables prior to OHC (Operations Handover Certificate) as applicable and required.
Support, coordinate, and consult with the respective Discipline Engineer to ensure respective discipline technical and project scope are holistically met during construction until normal operations.
