Being the worldwide leader in cabling solutions, Nexans has transferred its technology to QICC, which is extremely proud to contribute to the rapid development of Qatar's economy aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030.In order to support the development and operations of the plant, we wish to fill a position of Deputy Quality Manager, QHSE department.GETTING TO KNOW YOUR ROLEThe incumbent will be responsible for various electrical and technical projects.MAKING AN IMPACTEnsures quality system compliance to ISO 9001Prepares yearly Internal Audit Program and conducts Internal Quality audits to ensure the effectiveness of the Quality Management SystemGenerates and updates Quality ProceduresEnsures compliance to approved product system requirementsConducts problem simulation to determine causes and suggests solutions using different statistical tools and techniquesParticipates in the implementation of operational plans involving quality-related activitiesPromotes quality awareness through orientation, feedback, and quality education campaignsPerforms basic supervisory functions for QC staff and operatorsUpdates, prepares, and issues calibration reportsPerforms calibration of all tests and measuring equipment based on their corresponding specificationsProvides technical recommendations and suggestions to develop and organize the calibration program procedure and control systemControls, maintains, and updates equipment history filesDevelops/revises procedures using the latest test and calibration equipmentSupports technical problems such as repair and troubleshooting of instruments/equipmentResponsible for customer claims by preparing reports, performing internal investigations, and taking necessary corrective and preventive actionsResponsible for the in-process section and in-process inspectorsMaintains the highest procedures for in-process inspectionReports any unsafe conditions during processing of the productPerforms any other related activities as may be assignedWHAT YOU BRING TO THE JOBA graduate of any Engineering course with a minimum of 7-10 years relevant experience working in a manufacturing companyShows strong initiative and is adaptable to changeHas the capability to understand customers' requirements and constraints (internally and externally)Has the capability to objectively assess the degree of compliance to a referential or standard for a process or activityGood project management skills (prioritization, simultaneous management of multiple projects)High standard for best practices and quality of workGood health and safety resultsKnowledge of English is an assetWHY WORK WITH US?Professional and personal development opportunitiesDynamic, multidisciplinary, and international work environmentAs a group, we believe in empowering our employees to develop their potential, which is why we will work to provide you with a range of internal mobility opportunities for your professional and personal development
