Health Safety Environment Officer - UAE National - TP

Position Title: Health Safety Environment Officer Job Purpose: Responsible for the safety of all company employees, suppliers, sub-contractors, and visitors to the project site to ensure that all on-site strictly adhere to both the safety and environmental policies of the specific project. Also responsible for the day-to-day welfare of the people at the site, including the provision of adequate shade and hydration during the summer, and ensuring that injuries and illnesses on site are reported to the project manager and first aid is administered by the authorized body on site. Key Accountabilities:

Assist the OSH MR/ HSE Manager in complying with current health and safety regulations to ensure that all reasonable and proper measures are taken to protect the safety and health of workers, staff, and visitors.
Ensure all staff and visitors to the project site are properly inducted in the safety requirements of the project to meet safety standards.
Monitor the implementation of the Site HSE Management Plan to meet safety standards.
Compliance and enforcement of all health, safety, and environmental issues to ensure compliance with OSHAD SF Version 3.0, ISO standards such as ISO 45001 OSHMS, and ISO 14001 EMS.
Conduct risk assessments in projects and review them as per the requirements.
Maintain safety and operations manuals, training, certification, and record-keeping meeting the project specifications, including training matrices and training breakdown summaries.
Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks for newly inducted staff and workers on site to ensure safety awareness is provided.
