Urban Planner Job Opening at AtkinsRéalis in Dubai
Minimum Qualifications:- Degree or postgraduate qualification in Urban Design, Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, or related field (preferably with professional affiliation or eligibility for membership).
- Minimum 15 years of experience in urban design, planning, and master planning.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, PowerPoint, MS Word, and Excel.
- Strong design and graphics skills, including hand and computer-generated graphics.
- Experience in sustainability practices in the public realm (LEED or equivalent advantageous).
- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Capable of managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating technical aspects.
Job Description
- Lead medium to large-scale urban planning and design projects in the Middle East and Africa.
- Deliver high-quality urban planning, design, and master planning project submissions.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, attend meetings, and prepare technical bids and proposals.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams and ensure project deliverables align with design standards.
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives and integrate them into public realm projects.
- Travel within the Middle East region for project-related tasks.
