Chief Operating Officer Southern Cone Argentina Chile Posted on Nov 05, 2021 Profile Aon is looking for a Subregion Chief Operating Officer - Southern Cone. As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by directing and coordinating activities and resources consistent with established goals in the Latam region/subregion. You will report directly to the Deputy COO Latam and Sub-Region Head, collaborating with the Sub-region Executive Committee and ABS Regional community. Your impact as a COO: The Subregion Chief Operating Officer - Southern Cone will provide the leadership, management, and vision to ensure we have the proper resources, controls, and systems to effectively grow the organization, excel in the services, increase operating efficiency, and maintain financial strength. Job Responsibilities: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Sub-region ensuring accomplishment of defined KPIs, strategic initiatives, and local/corporate compliance. Developing, in collaboration with Subregion Executive Committee and Regional ABS team, an annual operating plan that supports Aon’s long-term operations strategy. Providing strategic direction, leadership, and management of operational activities that are aligned to meet overall strategic objectives set by Subregion/Region and Global teams (revenue growth, client retention, profitability, etc). Converting strategic objectives into actionable plans for performance and growth, helping to implement and achieve company-wide goals. Assessing and managing the principal risks of Aon’s business within operations. Collaborating with other SL/sub-SL leadership, where relevant, to deliver “the best of Aon.” Managing, leading, and coaching the team to ensure continual improvement in the capability, knowledge, development, and performance of the team. Running the team’s performance management process as per company procedures and policy. Building inclusive and diverse teams, fostering a culture in which all employees are valued and heard.
