As we enter an exciting phase of growth and innovation, we invite you to join our mission as the National Accounts Manager for New Zealand. The Role: As the National Accounts Manager, you will be instrumental in driving significant growth within the New Zealand market. Working closely with the Head of Sales (AU) and the Adventure World NZ General Manager, you will lead strategic sales initiatives, build robust relationships with travel partners, and champion the Adventure World brand. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales Development:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the New Zealand market.
    • Set ambitious sales targets and track progress against key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and industry networking.
  • Account Management:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key travel agencies, consortiums, and strategic partners.
    • Address the needs of key accounts with consultative sales and tailored solutions.
    • Negotiate contracts, rates, commissions, and partnerships to maximise revenue and profitability.
  • Sales Growth & Campaigns:
    • Drive innovative sales campaigns and promotions to boost brand awareness and bookings.
    • Leverage marketing tools to communicate Adventure World’s unique value propositions effectively.
    • Provide detailed sales reports and insights to identify growth opportunities.
  • Market Intelligence & Analysis:
    • Stay informed about travel trends, consumer preferences, and emerging technologies.
    • Analyse sales data and adjust strategies to meet market demands.
  • CRM & Technology:
    • Oversee the use of Salesforce, ensuring accurate data and leveraging insights for forecasting and segmentation.
  • Brand Representation:
    • Represent Adventure World at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
    • Communicate the Adventure World brand story to partners and customers.
About You: You’re a dynamic and results-oriented professional with a passion for the travel industry. Your ability to build and nurture relationships, coupled with your strategic mindset, makes you a natural leader in driving business growth. Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in sales or business development within the travel or tourism industry.
  • Strong understanding of the New Zealand travel market, including key distribution channels.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical and problem-solving expertise to inform decision-making.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Travel & Tourism, Sales & Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
