Senior Financial Analyst

Work Location This role is predominately home based but there will be a requirement to travel the companies head office in either Maidenhead or Ashford Kent (TN25) , on average 1 - 2 times per month. This role is a permanent role reporting to the Finance Business Partner, France, BeNeLux, South Africa, Poland and NorDach affiliates. It is desirable the successful candidate is able to communicate written and orally in French. The Senior Financial Analyst will work with the Finance Business Partner in providing financial and commercial decision support to the sales divisions across the defined geography. Until our systems and processes are transitioned (following the acquisition of Smiths Medical by ICU Medical), data collection and compilation will require working across multiple systems. This role will be critical in extraction, compilation and providing analytical support where cross systems access may not be available to all stakeholders. The role will be fundamental in facilitating across the region the planning and forecasting processes which will include the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasts. The commercial support of this role is essential and extends beyond the structured reporting and processes. Working with the Finance Business Partner to ensure that the business leaders are equipped to make the right commercial decisions for the company such as (but not limited to), pricing, ROI assessments (capital placements), monitoring performance to commitments and evaluation of difference purchase options. Responsibilities

• Sales revenue and profit margin analysis
• Pricing variance analysis
• Assist in the preparation of the quarterly forecasts, annual operating plan, and long-range plan.
• Insightful financial analysis providing recommendations and decision support.
• Support business partnering activities such as strategy and pricing initiatives.
• Weekly sales performance review meetings
• Assist in the annual sales targets setting process with Country Managers and Regional Business Managers
• Evaluation of sales team’s performance and calculation of any sales commission due under Sales Incentive Plans per agreement.
• Ad hoc projects and reports preparation as required.
• Support general month-end analysis particularly other areas of expenses not directly sales department related.
• Cross department collaboration in particular demand planning, accounting, HR
• Responsible for EMEA cost centre review analysis and preparation of month end commentary
• Full P&L preparation and review
• Support EMEA finance team with regional projects, integration activities and any other requests.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Professional accounting qualification (such as CIMA, ACCA, or ACA)

• Advanced level use of Excel and other Office applications
• Strong data management skills
• Experience of Power BI desirable
• Good knowledge of Oracle, Hyperion, OneStream is preferred.

• Strong business acumen and commercial understanding
• Experience working across the business functions such as sales and marketing teams
• Ability to work across systems and compiling business and financial analysis
• Advanced forecasting, planning and analysis experience
• Demonstrated experience of advance modelling skills
• Detail-oriented, organised and self-motivated
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to present finance information to non-finance stakeholders.
