The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for establishing a professional and efficient work relationship with suppliers in order to negotiate contracts for the purchase of required goods / services and keep accurate records of transactions trends. Also, to assist the Finance and Operational Departments in the monitoring, reporting and controlling of Cost of Sales in the Club, including audit and control, financial analysis and reporting, budgeting, forecasting etc.What Will You Do Your main duties and responsibilities are:Ensure the efficient operation of the Purchasing Department in all aspects by implementing purchasing policies, systems and internal control proceduresManage all purchasing functions, quotations, quality and availabilityManage contracts selection with Food Suppliers for qualityMonitor vendors for quality, service and price through standard purchasing specifications and ensure that the best product is sourced and purchased at the right priceMaintain logical storeroom inventory levels operationally neededAssist in organizing capital expenditure, operating equipment requirementsEnsure that all authorized or approved purchase orders are sent to their respective suppliers/vendors for delivery purposes on a daily basisIdentify items for standing orders utilizing vendor's logistics for regular deliveries based on approved highly consumed itemsKeep all documents, files and listings updated and organized in a way that can be checked at any time for information or audit purposesCoordinate with Executive Chef for new products What We Are Looking ForThe successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:Minimum 3 years' experience in same or similar role in luxury hotels Excellent level of English, written and spokenPreferably Female who is based in the UAEStrong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibilityExcellent team management skills with strong problem-solving abilitiesDemonstrate integrity in all dealings and maintain high level of confidentialityAbility to work long shifts and sit for the extended period of time The BenefitsThe Arts Club Dubai is offering a competitive and attractive remuneration and benefits package.
