About the Team As a Front End Developer, you will report to the Chief Technology Officer and collaborate closely with Pine’s engineering team to bring your work to life. - Work on a cross-functional with our engineering team
- Participate in technical design and planning discussions
- Collaborate with our entire product team
- Uphold standards for quality by performing code reviews, fixing bugs, creating automated tests, and monitoring performance
- You write high-quality, testable code and make thoughtful tradeoffs between speed and maintainability, recognizing the balance between fast delivery and sustainable solutions.
- You're highly skilled in JavaScript and continuously work to deepen your expertise in modern front-end frameworks, especially React and Next.Js.
- React is second nature to you, and you're adept with Next.Js 14+ features, including the app router and foundational concepts in both React and Next.Js.
- Testing is part of your workflow, and you're comfortable using React Testing Library and Jest to ensure your code is reliable, maintainable, and thoroughly tested.
- Git is your version control tool of choice, and you follow best practices for branching, merging, and managing code through the release cycle.
- Accessibility is fundamental to your development process, and you have experience testing and delivering inclusive code for diverse audiences.
- You communicate effectively, explaining technical concepts clearly to designers, support staff, and other engineers.
- Problem-solving is a strength of yours; when issues arise, you're quick to diagnose and resolve them with a calm, analytical approach.
