The Corporate Excellence Manager is accountable for aligning organizational strategies with operational execution. Responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and assessment of performance metrics and initiatives, this role plays a pivotal part in enhancing operational efficiency, driving growth, and ensuring the company meets its strategic objectives. The Corporate Excellence Manager collaborates closely with department heads to optimize processes, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and streamline efforts across the organization. The Corporate Excellence Manager is responsible to identify synergies and actively promote collaborations between the different companies of the organization. Key Responsibilities: Performance Monitoring and Analysis:

  1. Collaborate with business unit leaders to establish and regularly review KPIs and performance targets.
  2. Develop and maintain a comprehensive performance monitoring system to track, analyze, and report on key metrics across various departments.
Strategic Alignment:
  1. Ensure that KPIs and performance targets align with the organization's strategic objectives and business priorities.
  2. Work closely with executive leadership to understand strategic goals and translate them into measurable performance indicators.
Data Collection and Reporting:
  1. Oversee the collection, validation, and analysis of performance data from various sources.
  2. Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for the CEO and executive team, highlighting trends, areas for improvement, and achievements against targets.
Performance Reviews and Recommendations:
  1. Conduct regular reviews of performance data with business unit leaders to identify areas of strength and improvement.
  2. Provide actionable recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, resource allocation, and overall business performance.
  3. Suggest synergies between the different companies/departments of the organization.
Benchmarking and Best Practices:
  1. Research industry benchmarks and best practices to compare the organization's performance against peers.
  2. Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation based on external benchmarks and market trends.
Technology and Systems Integration:
  1. Evaluate and implement performance management tools and technologies to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
  2. Collaborate with IT and other relevant departments to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
Training and Development:
  1. Develop training programs for business unit managers to enhance their understanding of KPIs and performance management best practices.
  2. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the organization.
Risk Management and Mitigation:
  1. Identify performance-related risks and work with business units to develop mitigation strategies.
  2. Collaborate with the risk management team to integrate performance metrics into the overall risk assessment process.
Policies, Procedures and Systems:
  1. Diligently comply with all applicable internal and external policies, procedures, guidelines, rules, and regulations in the execution of their duties and responsibilities.
Quality, Health, Safety and Environment:
  1. Responsible for ensuring strict adherence to all applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) management procedures and controls within their defined area of responsibility.
Code of Ethics and Business Conduct:
  1. Responsible for upholding and complying with the company's Code of Ethics and Business Conduct in all aspects of their role. This includes maintaining the highest standards of professional integrity, confidentiality, and ethical behavior.
Education, Knowledge & Skills:
  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
  2. Preferred advanced degrees such as MBA or Master's in a relevant discipline.
  3. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA), or equivalent certification is advantageous.
  4. Minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible roles in performance management, analytics, or strategic planning.
  5. Previous experience in overseeing or contributing to performance management functions.
  6. Experience in analyzing and interpreting performance metrics to drive strategic decisions.
  7. Proficiency in managing and implementing performance improvement initiatives.
  8. Demonstrated track record in enhancing operational performance and efficiency through data-driven insights and strategies.
  9. Comprehensive grasp of performance management principles, methods, and frameworks.
  10. Familiarity with the business sectors and operational intricacies within the company.
  11. Understanding of industry-specific performance trends and benchmarks.
  12. Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance in performance reporting.
  13. Knowledge of corporate governance principles pertinent to performance evaluation.
  14. Proficiency in risk management strategies related to performance assessment.
  15. Understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics.
  16. Profound understanding of performance management principles and methodologies.
  17. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities for performance evaluation.
  18. Strong verbal and written communication aptitude for conveying insights effectively.
  19. Ability to cultivate and sustain relationships with stakeholders involved in performance.
  20. Proficiency in data analysis, interpretation, and forecasting for strategic planning.
  21. Advanced proficiency in performance management software and analytical tools.
  22. Effective organizational and time management skills to handle diverse tasks efficiently.
  23. Foster strategic partnerships and explore synergies between companies to improve performance management practices.
