Credit Officer Division: Boral Constr Mat LimitedDepartment: OVERHEAD CMCWork type: Permanent - full timeLocation: Sydney We are currently looking for a Credit Risk Officer to join our team in North Ryde on a permanent basis. As part of the Boral Shared Services team, this exciting and critical role is responsible for supporting Boral’s Customer Onboarding processes with a primary focus on the assessment of credit applications from both new and existing customers. You will have a direct working relationship with both customers and sales teams to ensure the overall management of customer accounts to build strong customer relationships. Your day will involve: Management of the New Account application process; reviewing and analysing applications, assessing external credit reports, customer data and relevant documentation; Collaborating across Credit and Sales teams to build relationships that ensure best practices and service delivery is achieved; Managing customer risk profiles in accordance with our Credit Policy; including assessing of Credit limits; Delivering exceptional customer service to our customers including meeting SLA’s on new account assessment and establishment; Contributing to building a team culture that encourages continuous improvement, collaboration, and achievement of team goals. What we are looking for: You are a client service professional, with previous experience working with customers in a complex and diversified organisation. You will be highly motivated, with the ability to work directly with customers and stakeholders to form positive relationships. Additionally, you will possess skills in: Ideally Customer Credit Risk profiling and familiarity with Credit assessment policies governing credit risk; Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills with an eye for detail; Delivering exceptional customer service; Prioritising workloads to meet deadlines and competing priorities; Strong communication skills with customers and within a team environment; Solid ERP system skills in Oracle, SAP or equivalent.
