About the Role We’re looking for a driven and enthusiastic Business Development Representative (BDR) to fuel our growth. As the first point of contact with potential clients, you’ll play a pivotal role in building strong relationships, uncovering opportunities, and setting the stage for long-term partnerships. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team and develop your sales career in the fast-growing EdTech space. Responsibilities

  • Prospecting : Identify, research, and engage with potential customers using outreach tools like email, phone, and LinkedIn.
  • Qualifying Leads : Conduct discovery calls to understand potential customers’ needs and pain points, ensuring they align with SkyPrep’s solutions.
  • Lead Nurturing : Build relationships with prospects, guiding them through the early stages of the sales cycle and keeping them engaged.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure smooth hand-offs of qualified leads and share valuable insights.
  • Metrics Management : Consistently meet or exceed targets for lead generation, meetings booked, and pipeline growth.
  • Market Research : Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitors, and customer challenges to position SkyPrep effectively.
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience in a sales, business development, or lead generation role (preferably in SaaS or technology solutions).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach.
  • Confidence in engaging with prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • A proactive, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.G., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales enablement tools is a plus.
  • Bonus: Experience in EdTech or knowledge of learning management systems.
