This is a fixed term opportunity (through until July 2025) that will drive cyber training resources out across BNZ Technology teams to help them understand and execute on their responsibilities. Mō te Tūranga | About the Role We sat down with our Head of Divisional Security, and they let us know the following about the role. What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?

  1. Work within the APRA CPS 234 project team, alongside cyber, risk and control SMEs.
  2. Lead the design and delivery of cyber advice that enables Technology Service Owners to be responsible for security every day.
  3. Communicate cyber guidance in simple and clear language.
  4. This will include guidance notes to complement workflows, workshop packs, How To guides and training videos.
  5. Host workshops and drop-in sessions to engage Application Owners and drive project understanding and execution.
What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity? This is an opportunity to simplify cyber risk and controls language and understanding across all BNZ Technology. What do we want you to know before you apply? We have strong executive support for cyber security, demonstrated by year-on-year funding. What specific skills and experience are required to be successful?
  1. Experience of enabling and facilitating change through the application of best practice change management principles.
  2. Demonstrable experience of operating effectively across the organisation at all levels to influence successful change outcomes.
  3. Ability to clearly present ideas on paper, write succinctly and think critically about an issue, with any implications made explicit.
  4. Experience working in an agile environment.
