Electrical Network Designer Opportunity - Central Otago

An award-winning company specializing in electricity infrastructure is seeking an experienced Electrical Network Designer to join their team in Central Otago.

Role Overview:

In this position, you will be responsible for creating detailed designs, as well as overseeing the maintenance and upgrades of both overhead and underground reticulation systems. Key responsibilities include:
  • Collaborating with clients and supporting the Project Management team as needed.
  • Providing essential engineering and design assistance to front-line staff.
  • Utilizing surveying techniques to gather on-site data and construction layout information.
  • Applying engineering principles to assess the safety and performance of overhead line distribution components.
  • Developing designs that comply with New Zealand and relevant network standards.
