Job Description
- Handle customer accounts and inquiries promptly with a commercial approach, establishing rapport and advising customers.
- Provide quotes on prices and lead times by coordinating with the procurement department, internal resources, and pricing matrices.
- Generate sales aggressively to meet budgetary requirements in terms of volume and gross margins.
- Coordinate with the logistics team for scheduling and delivery follow-ups.
- Strengthen existing customer relationships and develop new potential ones through call follow-ups.
- Conduct market analysis to monitor competitors and evaluate local market trends.
- Oversee payment statuses, liaise with the accounts team, and keep management updated.
- Maintain a professional, well-groomed, and well-spoken demeanor.
Candidate Profile
- Nationality: Open to any
- Gender: Male
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- 2–3 years of experience in structural steel stock sales in the UAE is preferable.
- Strong mathematical skills for calculating structural steel stocks, including merchant bars, tubes, pipes, galvanized items, MS plates, beams, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a team player with initiative, and a pleasant personality.
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, autonomous, and capable of handling on-time customer requirements.
- Flexible, enterprising, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.
- Strong commercial acumen.
