SALARY - 25-28K The Company Our client is an independent and high quality Wealth Manager, looking after HNW private client investment portfolios. The Role The Wealth Management Assistant role is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and ambitious individual, keen to progress within Investment Management/Wealth Planning and with a desire to become an Investment Manager/Wealth Manager or a Wealth Planner longer term. The successful candidate will be keen to support a team of Wealth Manager's, learning and having exposure to Investment Management, Wealth Planning and Private Clients. This role would suit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Economics or Investment graduate with a strong interest to work within Wealth Management longer term. The role will be Administrative in nature to begin with, learning from the bottom up with a credible Wealth Management team. Some Wealth Management internship experience would be highly desired. The Wealth Management Assistant will be assisting with high levels of client service to include meeting clients, writing reports relating to client investment portfolios and providing general telephone support to their Clients. The Wealth Management Assistant will be writing private client reports following attendance at meetings and ensuring that all aspects of Client Administration is managed in a regulatory and procedurally compliant manner. The Wealth Management Assistant role will support the Investment Management Branch with all client admin and also basic office management duties - such as ensuring stock is ordered in client rooms are ready for important meetings. The Candidate 2.1 Minimum degree - Economics, Finance or Investment Management graduate highly advantageous. A strong interest to become a Wealth Manager or Wealth Planner longer term. Willingness to sit Investment exams - IAD, Financial Planning qualifications - depending on preferred route. Proficient and highly motivated with ability to work well in a team environment Desire to learn with a view to progression within Investment Management. Excellent Communication Skills Strong Microsoft Office skills
