The opportunity We call our human resources group the Talent Team, and this reflects how important our people are to the success of the EY organization. Working with the Talent Team, you’ll help develop and execute our graduate development strategy, which provides the programs, measures and tools that help our employees achieve their goals. Your key responsibilities

  • Develop a consistent Graduate Development strategy for the region in line with global talent guidelines.
  • Ensure effective implementation of the Graduate Development strategy including country/business/service line specific requirements.
  • Conduct stakeholder management, building and maintaining relationships with region and/or country leadership, talent teams, and other EY networks.
  • Engage with business leadership to obtain buy-in for the Graduate Development strategy and plan, improving engagement and retention of graduates.
  • Track effectiveness of the induction and onboarding program; obtain business feedback and coordinate with HR Enablement and learning team for process improvements.
  • Manage all service line qualification policies and progress against qualification for all Graduates until promotion to Senior.
  • Work to increase the number of graduates who quickly advance in achieving their qualification.
  • Understand reasons for leaving and address these where applicable.
  • Ensure all graduates receive necessary soft skills and technical training across the region and all service lines.
  • Engage with the business to ensure they have a transition plan in place and understand their responsibilities in supporting new hires.
  • Create and maintain ongoing conversations and strong connections with graduates and senior stakeholders.
  • Work towards achieving various targets such as turnover and retention.
Skills and attributes for success
  • Building and maintaining influential relationships with business leaders and managers.
  • Clear, comprehensive understanding of the link between the talent team strategy and business strategy.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across the organization at all levels.
To qualify for the role you must have
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role within HR in professional services or corporate environment.
  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience working in international and diverse environments.
Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Time and project management skills – able to plan and manage time effectively.
  • CIPD qualification, or willingness to be qualified within a year of joining.
