Roles and Responsibilities

Skills: Java, J-Scripting, AJAX, UNIX Knowledge, BPM Workflow, CSS, XML, HTML, Oracle SQL
  1. Experience in Process modelling and development/implementation using IBM BPM BAW, Knowledge of Advanced Encryption Standards (AES).
  2. Hands-on experience on IT production support and well-versed with ITIL IT Operations framework for incident, problem and change management.
  3. Proficient in Application support and providing solutions to meet requirements and design Proof of Concept (POC). Experience in defining best practices and implementing them throughout the development stages.
  4. Experience in integrating IBM BPM with databases, web services, LDAP, SMTP and other integration services, database integration, and service integration.
  5. Experience in installation and troubleshooting IBM BPM application. Hands-on in IBM WODM and IBM FileNet.
  6. Experience in Integration with External systems like CRM and Core banking systems involving middleware for secure transactions (e.g., Integration with Open APIs, Microservices, FINACLE, TIBCO, etc.).
  7. Ability to manage complete BPM Application involving Process Flows, Handling Change Requests, and Supporting Critical Issues in the Production environment of IBM BPM.
  8. Experience in performing DR/PR Drill and OS patching on BPM infrastructure server.
  9. Performs optimization and automation activities to support the implementation of a product/application.
  10. Must be extremely responsive, able to work under pressure in a crisis with a strong sense of urgency.
Experience: 5 Years Certifications: IBM BPM Certified, ITIL Certification

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Application Monitoring and Performance
  • Monitor Application Performance: Continuously monitor the performance of applications to ensure they are functioning optimally.
  • Proactive Issue Detection: Identify and address potential issues before they impact end users, including performance bottlenecks, system errors, or inefficient resource usage.
  • Application Tuning: Optimize and tune applications to improve performance, responsiveness, and resource consumption.
2. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution
  • Technical Support: Provide second-line or third-line technical support to end-users encountering issues with applications.
  • Incident Management: Investigate, diagnose, and resolve incidents related to software applications, including analyzing logs and performing diagnostics.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Identify the root causes of recurring issues and work on solutions to prevent future problems.
3. Software Deployment and Updates
  • Patch and Update Management: Manage the deployment of software patches, updates, and new releases, ensuring that applications are up-to-date and secure.
  • Version Control: Ensure that the correct version of the application is running in the production environment and handle version upgrades when necessary.
  • System Configuration: Assist in configuring and setting up applications for different environments (development, staging, production).
4. Collaboration with Development and IT Teams
  • Work with Developers: Collaborate with developers to fix bugs, implement enhancements, or deploy new features.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with other IT departments (e.g., network teams, database administrators) to resolve issues that span different technology layers.
  • Customization and Integration: Help integrate applications with other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality between systems.
