About The Company: Our client is a brilliant venue offering corporate events, meetings, exhibitions, product launches, team building, fun days, festivals, private parties, Christmas parties, and weddings. About You We're looking for a results-driven Sales Executive with a track record in selling corporate conferences. You excel at building strong client relationships and have a deep understanding of the events industry. Your exceptional communication skills and persuasive nature allow you to engage effectively with clients and close deals. You're proactive, ambitious, and thrive in dynamic environments, consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets. Your ability to identify market trends and develop strategic sales approaches sets you apart. - To have responsibility for achieving sales targets with new business development and maintaining some Key Accounts.
- To be the main sales representative on the road, presenting to clients.
- To be proactive in sales.
- To achieve agreed budget sales targets, liaising with the Sales Manager
- Effective management of key accounts including existing clients and new clients both Local and National
- To do all presenting off site
- To meet agreed Sales appointment targets
- To prepare proposals in a timely manner
- To prepare all confirmed job function sheets to ensure the Operations Department have the up-to-date information required to successfully run the event
- To be a sales negotiator and develop other opportunities with all areas of the business to enable cross selling
- To maintain on-going discussions with all clients – using our CRM system
- Follow the department procedures to maintain the integrity of the relationship with all clients
- Attend all network meetings as and when required
- Have full input into all areas of the business
- Must have their own transport due to a rural location
- Good team player, hard-working, flexible and enthusiastic
- Strong, dynamic sales professional who can bring contacts in the Conference and events market
- A demonstrated track record in new business sales plus a proactive, can-do attitude is a must
- Must be very honest, professional and motivated by success
- Must have at least 2 years’ experience in conference and events
- Must have established working relationship with agencies and blue chip companies
