Job Description - Credit Documentation • To provide legal support to the various business verticals of the Bank on vetting, drafting and negotiating credit facility, security and ancillary documents to safeguard the interest of the Bank and to ensure legally secure documentation for the credit transactions of the Bank; • To provide guidance support required in various legal issues relating to the credit function of the Bank to the Branches and various business departments; • To review the title search reports of the immovable properties offered as security to secure the loans and advances and opine on the acceptability of the property; • To liaise with external legal counsels /empaneled advocates for specific issues /contracts/documentation/legal advisory services as may be required and review the work done by them • To provide assistance/contribution for completion of the projects that may be initiated by the legal department Functional and other important skills required: • Well versed with the laws in India; • Investigative skills; • Decision making skills; • Negotiation and convincing skills • Problem solving and conflict management skills Qualification: Experience (2- 8 years) required in banking and financial LLB / LLM from reputed law school and preferably Company Secretary as an additional qualification. sector (reputed private sector bank and/or NBFC):
