Academic Counselor

Principal Role and Responsibilities include:

• Provide educational guidance and assistance to students for school admissions and curriculums offered.
• Recommend suitable learning path and education pathways for prospective students through emails, phone calls, and in-person interactions.
• Follow up with leads generated from various platforms, including digital sources (social media, website, chats), student interactions, existing students, and external databases.
• Conduct informal meet-ups with prospective applicants at the admissions office or external locations such as cafes or community spaces.
• Assist the admissions team during open houses, coffee chats, career fairs, workshops, school tours, and other events.
• Maintain an up-to-date repository of call logs and databases, ensuring feedback and comments are recorded for future follow-up.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Minimum 2-6 years of experience (Prior counselling experience or experience in education space would be preferred)

• Strong counselling and relationship management skills
• Result oriented

• Exceptional communication skills
