Trainee Recruitment Consultant (Business Development Team) Location: Wood Green 5 days a week in the office 1st Year OTE £40,000 (£25k base + 2 forms of uncapped commission) Start date 3rd Feb 2025 About The Business This is a small, growing recruitment business where you have the opportunity to join in a newly created business development function to sit at the forefront of their growth plans. They are a specialist recruitment agency with deep expertise in the European IT and marketing sectors recruiting into the Nordics and Germany. They pride themselves on building meaningful, long-term relationships with their clients and candidates through transparent and consultative recruitment practices. The are thought leaders in their way of working and have exciting plans for 2025. Role Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our specialist team. As a BDR, you will be the first point of contact with prospective clients, helping to build a strong pipeline for our recruitment services. This is a very unique opportunity for a results-driven individual who is committed to a career in recruitment to learn their craft in a client facing role. The position is fundamental to the sales success of the overall business and comes with exciting, career progression opportunities. Key Responsibilities Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  1. Identify and research potential clients within our ideal client profile (ICP)
  2. Map decision makers and ensure acquisition of accurate contact details
  3. Build and maintain a database of high-quality leads using tools like LinkedIn, the CRM and Lusha
  4. Track all leads for systematic follow up only putting clean and accurate data on the CRM
  5. Work closely with the market awareness team to ensure a strong pipeline of leads
Outreach and Engagement:
  1. Initiate contact with prospects through email, phone calls, LinkedIn and emails.
  2. Hitting the expected activity standard both on the phone and via written communication
  3. Expertly deliver the CW Talent Value proposition
  4. Crate intrigue and educate on the unique service provided by CW Talent
  5. Deliver tailored messaging to capture interest in our recruitment services.
Qualification:
  1. Conduct initial discovery calls to understand client needs and determine fit for our services.
  2. Qualify leads and set appointments for senior sales representatives.
  3. Meetings to be pre-qualified against BANT
  4. Schedule meetings into senior colleagues calendars with thorough handover notes
  5. Send all follow up collateral to new prospects immediately after calling to ensure a tight process
Collaboration:
  1. Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and optimize lead generation efforts.
  2. Provide feedback on market trends and client pain points to inform sales strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
  1. Is passionate about sales and has experience in a sales-related role
  2. Thrives in a dynamic, start-up environment with a "can-do" attitude
  3. Confident on the phone and excited to cold call
  4. Naturally curious inquisitive
  5. Strong powers of persuasion
  6. Is an excellent communicator, both written and verbal – can competently construct sales emails
  7. Is self-motivated, proactive, and demonstrates a history of exceeding expectations
  8. Possesses strong analytical, and problem-solving skills, and emotional intelligence
  9. Chatty, outgoing and can hold their own with stakeholders of all levels
  10. Exceptional time-management and organisational skills
  11. Languages are not a preference but German or Danish is a huge advantage.
This role is only suitable for individuals who are incredible self motivated, excited to join a very small business where they can have a huge impact and earn good money. The interview process is a screening call, video submission and an onsite final with the CEO and chance to meet the team.
