Company: Magick Woods Exports (Pvt) Ltd Experience : 5 to 7 Yrs Location: Chennai (Maraimalai Nagar) Job Description As a Sr. Technical ABAP developer, you will be part of a core team of IT professionals supporting the various subsidiaries and help business stakeholders shape their strategies with technology solution implementations. You will also take an active role in shaping demand, defining product roadmaps, and strengthening the business relations team you are part of. You come with strong hands-on SAP expertise and sound business knowledge in the manufacturing industry. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces within the SAP S4 HANA environment.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and design technical solutions.
- Optimize and enhance existing ABAP code to improve system performance and efficiency.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for ABAP development projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to custom ABAP developments.
- Support system testing and integration efforts, ensuring that ABAP developments meet business needs.
- Keep up to date with SAP technologies and best practices and apply them to ongoing projects.
- Develop Complex reports in multiple functional areas like SD/MM/EWM/IBP/TM/FICO and Etc.
- Must understand the flow of data within Rise with S4 Hana.
- Proven experience as an ABAP developer in an SAP environment, with a focus on Rise S4 HANA.
- Experience in ABAP core (Data dictionary, SQL, ALV, Report, Dialog programming, SAP scripts, Smart form, BDC )
- Experience in advance ABAP (OOP, BAPI, idocs, Workflow, Enhancement, BADI, Webdynpro, ADOBE form)
- Experience in API
- Basic knowledge in SAP business process (SD, MM, FI, PP, EWM)
- Experienced in leading teams and capable of driving initiatives.
- S/4 HANA conversion knowledge is preferable.
- Must have Sap S/4HANA implementation project experience from the Prepare/Explore phase till Run phase.
- Experience of building applications in SAP BTP Platform (BTP-Restful Application Programming)
- Experience in Developer Extensibility (Embedded Steampunk)
- Knowledge of open standards like Cloud Foundry will be appreciated.
- Tools experience in SAP BAS and SAP BTP Cockpit.
- Strong experience with SAPUI5 and/or HTML5 or other Front-end Web Application development frameworks and Full Stack Web IDE.
- Good onsite lead experience with customer-handling roles
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori, CDS views, and other modern SAP technologies is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field
- Certification in ABAP is a must.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion.
