Greet and assist patients, families, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Answer and direct phone calls, provide information, and handle inquiries promptly and efficiently. Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using the hospital’s scheduling system. Verify patient information and ensure all necessary documentation and insurance details are complete. Direct patients to appropriate departments and coordinate with medical staff as needed. Handle patient check-ins and check-outs, including collecting payments and providing receipts. Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards. Respond to emergency situations by following established hospital protocols. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area. Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and other correspondence. Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.
