Operations Technician

• Operate state-of-the-art equipment in a new facility during commissioning and mobilisation.

• Operating the plant safely and efficiently, including start-ups, shutdowns, and emergencies.
• Monitoring the Distributed Control System (DCS) to maintain steam pressure and power production.
• Ensuring compliance with environmental permits and reporting issues to the Shift Team Leader.
• Conducting plant inspections, front-line maintenance, and fault finding.
• Assisting with operating procedures and supporting the maintenance team.

• Level 3 qualification in engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Process operations experience with knowledge of SCADA/PLC/DCS systems.
• Experience in control room operations, ideally with steam-raising plant and turbines.
• Background in industries such as Energy from Waste, Biomass, or Petrochemicals.
• Marine Engineers from Merchant Fleet or Royal Navy will be considered.
