Looking for Techops Linux with 8+ years of experience for Pune location. Role & Responsibilities
- Proven work experience as Linux Administrator.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and associated utilities.
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with security best practices, system hardening and patching.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with automation tools (e.g. Salt, Ansible)
- Experience of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM) and cloud platforms - AWS. Able to manage 500+ VMs.
- Experience in Disaster Recovery management.
- Experience in driving continuous improvement for repetitive issue.
- Troubleshooting issues on Linux environment, Network
- Linux Admin - Authentication, Reverse Proxy, DNS, Mailing
- Network - Routage & Segmentation, Different protocol
- Virtualization - VMWare, Docker, Kubernetes
- OpenSSl, fail2ban, OpenPGP
- Firewall
- Patching / Hardening
- Monitoring - Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk
- Tools - GIT, Jenkins, Bitbucket / Gitlab
- Configuration management tool: Saltstack (prefered) or an equivalent tool like Ansible, puppet or chef
- IaaS - Cloud formation or another equivalent like Terraform, Packer
- Scripting - Bash, Python, YAML, Groovy
