The Role As General Manager, you will oversee Kelato’s day-to-day operations, providing strategic and operational leadership to ensure profitability and sustainable growth. This hands-on role requires a leader who can balance high-level strategy with operational execution and team leadership. The General Manager will be primarily based at Kelato Animal Health’s headquarters in Miranda, Sydney. The role offers flexibility where appropriate and will include occasional domestic and international travel to support strategic business objectives and key stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute business strategies to achieve organisational goals, including expansion into new markets. Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations, including supply chain optimisation and process improvement. Financial Management: Prepare budgets, monitor performance, and implement initiatives to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a collaborative team, fostering a positive workplace culture. Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Strengthen relationships with suppliers, distributors, and customers while maintaining high service standards. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to legal regulations and company policies while proactively managing risks. About You We’re looking for a proactive leader with the following attributes: Experience: 10+ years in a leadership role, preferably in animal health, equine, or agribusiness sectors, although candidates from other sectors will be considered. Skills: Strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and hands-on operational expertise. Leadership: A proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams in a collaborative environment.
