About the Role The Straits Eye Centre, an eye specialist clinic under The Straits Medical Services group, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional eye care services while contributing to the growth of a dynamic and innovative healthcare organisation. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual health and identify patient needs. Prescribe and dispense corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses. Diagnose and manage refractive errors, eye conditions, and injuries. Educate patients on vision health, eye care, and proper use of corrective devices. Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic, integrated care. Maintain meticulous patient records while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Requirements Registered and licensed to practise as an Optometrist in Singapore. Proficiency in using basic optometric equipment and tools for eye examinations. Excellent communication skills to educate and support patients. Commitment to delivering patient-centred care with the highest ethical standards.
