We are looking for a HR Generalist superstar, who has a strong background in running recruitment processes. This person will support hiring managers in finding the best kaimahi for their teams. Some of the responsibilities of this role will include:
  1. Managing recruitment across all levels and business units of the organisation.
  2. Providing generalist HR advice and guidance.
  3. Providing timely reporting on recruitment progress.
  4. Continuous improvement activities for recruitment processes, documentation and advertising.
  5. Relationship management across different business unit managers, SLT, the wider organisation and external recruitment agencies.
  6. Providing updates on employment trends and changes within the New Zealand employment market.
  7. Supporting HR projects.
  8. Several years of proven HR generalist experience.
  9. Proven experience in managing end-to-end internal recruitment processes, including managing agency relationships and contracts, advertising, shortlisting, interviewing and onboarding.
  10. A good understanding of employment legislation and practices.
  11. Experience working with HRIS systems.
  12. A strong team player, who can collaborate and assist to help the team partner and support the organisation.
  13. Strengths in building and fostering excellent relationships with internal managers, the senior leadership team and external partners.
  14. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  15. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  16. Eligibility to work in New Zealand is essential.
  17. Pae Tahi- Te Whakahua | A desire and ability to practise correct pronunciation of Te Reo Māori (essential).
  18. Pae Tahi- Nō Ia Rā | An understanding and living of Tikanga Māori on a day-to-day level, for example, the removing of shoes before entering a whare, washing hands at the urupa and not sitting on tables (essential).
