You will lead the conversation, challenge, and oversee the development of our next generation digital platform, ensuring scalability, security, and innovation.You'll work closely with the engineering and cross-functional teams to align technology strategy with key business objectives.ResponsibilitiesSolutions Leadership - Lead and drive the conversation around the next generation solution with key clients.Drive the technology workshops - Outline what the sector is doing, why they need to look at it, advise and influence.Build strong key stakeholder engagement and management - Earn their trust.Technical Leadership: Develop and execute a scalable, forward-thinking technology roadmap.Oversee platform architecture, ensuring flexibility, performance, and security.Partner with Product Management to design and deliver innovative features.Infrastructure and Security: Manage cloud infrastructure and ensure operational stability.Innovation: Stay ahead of Financial Services industry trends, introducing emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.Cross-functional Collaboration: Align technical initiatives with business objectives and stakeholder needs.Experience10+ years in a senior engineering leadership role (e.g., CTO, Head of Engineering, Head of DevOps) and/or a Technology Consultant / Director at the Big4 (providing services to FS).Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of modern Digital / Mobile architecture and cloud infrastructure. Strong background in software - backend, frontend, databases, legacy systems, API development, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to build, scale, and inspire high-performing engineering teams.
