We are seeking a vibrant individual fluent in Portuguese to provide high-quality telephone and e-mail support to customers participating in online lottery activities. If you are fluent in Portuguese, passionate about customer service, and have experience in the gaming industry, this role is perfect for you! Your key job responsibilities as the Portuguese Online Lottery Support in Cape Town will include:
- Provide exceptional telephonic and e-mail support to customers engaging in online lottery activities.
- Offer advice to customers regarding online lottery processes.
- Address technical and/or account-related queries raised by customers.
- Conduct research using available resources, such as lottery shows on television, to effectively respond to customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with various departments, including trading and finance, to ensure prompt resolution of customer queries.
- Escalate complex queries to the line manager for further assistance.
- Deliver prepared scripts to welcome new customers, explaining promotions, and guiding them through the onboarding process.
- Accurately onboard new customers by opening lottery accounts.
- Follow up on outstanding documents for FICA compliance to facilitate successful onboarding.
- Verify proof of payment received from customers and credit their lottery accounts accordingly.
- Process deposits to customers’ online lottery accounts.
- Fluent in Portuguese (Native).
- Matric qualification.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in call centers (essential).
- Preferably, a minimum of 2 years of experience in a lottery/casino environment.
- Strong understanding of customer service principles and practices (essential).
- Knowledge of the rules of various lotteries (Preferable).
- Familiarity with odds and betting (Preferable).
- Proficient in computer skills.
- Availability to work in shifts.
