Job Description: Investment Associate – Venture Location: London Employment Type: Full-time Experience Level: (3-5 years) LM12451 Role Overview: As an Investment Associate, you will be pivotal in identifying, evaluating, and supporting investments in cutting-edge climate/carbon focused ventures. You will leverage your consulting or venture experience and expertise in financial modelling to assess opportunities, conduct due diligence, and provide strategic insights. Key Responsibilities: Investment Analysis & Due Diligence · Conduct market research, industry analysis, and financial due diligence on potential investment opportunities. · Develop and present investment theses with comprehensive risk-reward evaluations. Financial Modelling · Build, maintain, and optimize robust financial models to evaluate business performance, forecast outcomes, and guide investment decisions. Portfolio Management · Monitor and support portfolio companies to drive value creation and alignment with strategic goals. · Track performance metrics and prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders. Deal Structuring & Execution · Assist in negotiating term sheets, investment agreements, and other key deal documents. · Collaborate with legal, financial, and technical advisors to ensure smooth transaction execution. Stakeholder Engagement · Cultivate and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, co-investors, and industry experts to build a robust deal pipeline. Qualifications: · Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or chemical engineering. Advanced degrees (MBA, MS, or equivalent) are a plus. · Experience: 3-5 years in consulting, venture capital, private equity, or a related field with demonstrated exposure to investment processes. Skills: · Proficiency in financial modelling and advanced analytical techniques. · French (Native) or French (Professional Proficiency). · Familiarity with carbon markets, or sustainable industrial practices is highly desirable
